About the Opportunity

As Social Media Lead for APAC, you will be at the forefront of crafting OKX social and cultural presence through impactful concepts and thumb-stopping content. You will lead the global social team towards big ideas, innovative executions with crypto influencers, and help grow our social communities. You will work with social media managers to define our storytelling on social, bring day-to-day posts to life and jam with influencers to figure out how to crack the next big cultural moment.

What You’ll Be Doing

Ideate, oversee and execute social storytelling on X (Twitter), Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat and TikTok.
As part of OKX’s growing Web3 ecosystem, you’ll also play a key role in shaping the voice and community around X Layer, our ZK-powered Layer 2 network built to connect OKX and Ethereum communities.
Build social playbooks for builders, traders, and partners in the X Layer ecosystem, amplifying their stories globally.
Craft real-time reactive content and campaigns that capture onchain moments, trends, and narratives as they unfold.
Establish OKX and X Layer as a leading voice in the builder economy through narrative shaping, content drops, and meme-first storytelling.
Grow and galvanize a community of crypto and OKX evangelists.
Track the pulse of culture and onchain trends to stay ahead of the curve — then turn them into scroll-stopping content that moves fast and hits hard.
Build narrative frameworks and craft copy that make our campaigns unmistakably OKX — loud, clear, and impossible to scroll past.
Jam cross-functionally with product, brand, growth, and ecosystem teams to align on the “why,” sharpen the “what,” and ship the “wow.”
Design clean, repeatable playbooks and workflows that keep the team in sync, spark creativity, and make execution feel effortless.

What We Look For In You

10+ years of experience in social media and/or brand marketing
Previous experience in crypto or web3 and/or deep understanding of its culture and ecosystem
Previous experience creating for social media channels X, Instagram, TikTok, Discord
Social capital and experience with top creators and influencers in APAC
You love and live memes - from classic memes to irl trends, you know whats going on in popular culture
You get your dopamine from creative taglines and social first storytelling
You have framework thinking and an owner mentality
Strong project management skills
Portfolio that demonstrates your strategic, conceptual, and design skills
Proficient in social design tools: Figma, Canva
Exceptional communication skills in English
Problem-solver and flexible to adapt to the ever-evolving climate of social media
Prioritization skills and ability to manage timely social projects and evergreen campaigns
