Pavago is hiring a creative and strategic Social Media & Content Strategist. In this role, you'll lead multi-platform content strategy, manage social channels (Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Reddit), and produce engaging video and written content that builds community and drives brand engagement. Responsibilities

• Own the content calendar: Plan, organize, and schedule posts across Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Reddit to keep messaging consistent and on-brand.
• Drive platform-specific growth: Adapt content strategies for each platform, using data and trends to grow audiences and engagement.
• Tell compelling stories: Use creativity to develop narratives and content series that connect emotionally with audiences and reflect brand values.
• Craft strong copy: Write polished, persuasive captions, threads, and post copy optimized for each platform.
• Produce high-quality video content: Conceptualize, script, and edit short-form videos tailored to platform-specific needs. You won’t need to appear on camera but if you’re comfortable doing so, that’s a strong plus.
• Collaborate with stakeholders: Work closely with internal teams to ensure content aligns with broader marketing and business objectives.
• Monitor performance & optimize: Track metrics, test new content types, and apply learnings to continuously improve reach and engagement.
• Stay on trend: Identify emerging formats, cultural moments, and platform updates to keep content fresh and future-facing.
• Ensure brand consistency: Maintain a unified tone, aesthetic, and message across all touchpoints.
• Work independently with accountability: Own your domain and deliver consistent, high-quality creative without the need for micromanagement.

Required Experience & Skills

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in social media content creation and strategy
• Demonstrated portfolio of content work (video, copy, social campaigns)
• Strong copywriting, storytelling, and content planning skills
• Proficiency with content tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar
• Strong understanding of platform nuances, tone, and audience behavior
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, feedback-driven environment
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Passion for content that drives both engagement and meaningful impact

What Does a Typical Day Look Like?

Your day might begin by reviewing engagement metrics from the previous day’s posts, followed by scheduling new content based on your editorial calendar. You might collaborate with stakeholders to brainstorm campaign themes, then spend time writing copy for a LinkedIn post, scripting a Twitter thread, or editing a video for Instagram Reels. You’ll keep an eye on cultural moments and trending formats, ensuring your content is timely, relevant, and always on-brand. Every day is a blend of storytelling, strategy, and execution.
