About the consultancy:

myAgro is seeking a Social Media Consultant to support the strengthening of our visibility and awareness in Côte d'Ivoire as we prepare for our 2027 strategy. The consultant will be responsible for creating, editing, and publishing engaging video and social media content that reaches farmers, partners, and the broader agricultural development community. This is a short-term consultancy engagement focused on delivering high-impact content during the contract period.

 

Scope of Work:

  • Create, film, and edit high-quality video content for TikTok, Facebook, and other relevant social media platforms, with a focus on reaching farmers and rural communities in Côte d'Ivoire.
  • Develop and implement a social media content calendar for the duration of the consultancy.
  • Conduct field visits to capture authentic stories, footage, and testimonials from farmers and staff.
  • Monitor social media performance and engagement metrics and provide a summary report with recommendations at the end of the contract.
  • Ensure content is culturally relevant, locally resonant, and adapted to the Ivorian context.
  • Collaborate with the country team to align content with myAgro's brand and messaging guidelines.
  • Support broader communications and outreach campaigns as needed during the engagement.

 

 Deliverables (to be finalized with the selected consultant):

  • Videos produced and published over the contract period.
  • A social media content calendar covering the consultancy period.
  • An end-of-contract performance and recommendations report.

 

You Have:

  • A degree in communications, marketing, digital media, journalism, or a related field.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in social media content creation and video production.
  • Demonstrated experience creating and editing short-form video content (TikTok, Facebook Reels, YouTube Shorts, or similar).
  • Strong video editing skills using tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or similar platforms.
  • A strong eye for visual storytelling and creativity.
  • Comfort working in rural or field environments and engaging with farming communities.
  • Familiarity with social media analytics and performance tracking.
  • Experience working in Côte d'Ivoire strongly preferred.
  • Fluency in French required. English a plus!
