Description

Job Title

Social Media Creative Partner (Purpose-Driven Youth Sports Academy)

Our client is a youth soccer and futsal academy based in California that helps players develop courage, creativity, and intelligence through small-sided play and mindset training. They’re not just coaching skills — they’re cultivating character. Until now, they’ve grown entirely through word-of-mouth and community trust — no paid ads, no social campaigns. Their sessions fill up, and their waitlist grows because families feel the depth of what they do.

Now they’re ready to share that story more widely — in a way that still feels authentic, thoughtful, and true to their values.

What We’re Looking For

A creative social media partner (individual or small studio) who can help our client:

- Turn our training philosophy and mindset lessons into meaningful, story-driven social content

- Handle both strategy and execution — ideation, writing, design, scheduling, and posting

- Create posts that feel human, purposeful, and intelligent — never forced, shallow, or trend-chasing

- Capture the spirit of courage, play, and growth that defines our players and coaches

- You don’t need a content backlog — you’ll collaborate directly with the coach (me) to extract ideas from short monthly conversations, event recaps, or newsletter reflections.

- Your job is to turn them into quality, impactful pieces that reflect who we are.

 Responsibilities

- Develop a simple monthly content calendar (approx. 7 posts per week)

- Repurpose insights from newsletters, emails, or short voice notes into high-quality posts

- Write thoughtful captions that blend story, insight, and emotion

- Design or coordinate visuals (photo, video, or carousel)

- Handle posting, formatting, and light community management

- Review analytics monthly — focused on resonance and clarity, not vanity metrics

Requirements

Who You Are

- A thoughtful communicator who values depth over volume

- Experienced working with coaching, education, or purpose-driven brands

- Comfortable translating spoken ideas or rough notes into polished content

- Skilled at both creative direction and consistent execution

- Reliable, proactive, and aligned with a mission-driven mindset

- Must be US timezone-compatible (Pacific Time)

What Success Looks Like

- Social content that feels authentic, reflective, and value-aligned

- A cohesive online presence that communicates the why behind Playmaker Lab

- Posts that connect with parents and players — not because of algorithms, but because they feel real

- Founder involvement of <1 hour per week
