We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team for a maintenance project. The ideal candidate will be responsible for upgrading and integrating the latest versions of PHP, Node.js, and Vue.js, ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of our software systems. This includes addressing critical vulnerabilities, performing routine maintenance, and leading the integration of a SIG compliance framework.
Responsibilities:
- Updating and integrating the latest versions of PHP and Node.js, ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of our software systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of updates and fixes.
- Offer strategic direction and technical leadership for maintenance activities and projects.
- Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality.
- Regularly review existing code for optimization and refactoring to improve performance and maintainability.
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve software defects and issues promptly.
- Enhance application performance through code and architecture optimization.
- Manage and execute processes for account deletion as part of routine maintenance and compliance activities.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.
- Continuously learn, take ownership, and adapt to new technologies and programming languages as needed to meet project requirements.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience as a full stack engineer for enterprise-grade cloud-based SaaS products.
- Expert in core PHP and Yii frameworks
- Expert in Node.js, and Vue.js.
- Strong knowledge of database systems such as Postgres/MySQL and query optimization.
- Experience in AWS backend technologies like EC2, S3, Lambda,etc.
- Experience with development frameworks, version control systems (e.g., Git), and CI/CD tools.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing REST-based APIs, with a strong understanding of best practices for authentication and authorization in production environments
- Demonstrable knowledge of fundamental cloud concepts around multi-tenancy, scaling out, serverless architecture, authentication & authorization.
- Experience with continuous delivery and integration pipelines: Docker/Automated deployment and testing.
- Experience in building scalable products leveraging AWS.
- Proven experience in writing clean, unit-tested, and secure code.
- Should be open to learning new technologies & programming languages as and when needed.
- Understanding and experience in building software systems following Object Oriented Software design principles.
- Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
Nice to Have:
While these skills are not mandatory, they would enhance your ability to excel in the role and contribute to the development of our innovative cybersecurity awareness products.
- Demonstrable knowledge of fundamental cloud concepts related to multi-tenancy, scaling out, and serverless architectures.
- Experience in building scalable data processing pipelines would be a valuable asset.
- Knowledge of Compliance - GRC is a nice to have
