SMB Junior Account Executive
TLDR
This full-cycle sales role provides the chance to enter the competitive SaaS market, offering extensive training and support to successfully close deals within the SMB sector.
What We’re Looking For
- Break into SaaS sales
- Be in a fast-paced, high-energy team
- Build a long-term commercial career
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing new business
- Identify and reach out to potential SMB customers in your market
- Run discovery calls to understand customer needs and qualify opportunities
- Deliver product demos and clearly communicate Meltwater’s value
- Manage negotiations and close deals
- Consistently work towards (and exceed) quarterly sales targets
- Partner with Customer Success and internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding
- A Bachelor's degree or higher is preferred for this role, allowing you to leverage your academic strengths.
- Strong motivation to build a career in sales, this matters more than experience
- 0–2 years experience in sales, retail, hospitality, or customer-facing roles (nice to have, not required)
- Competitive mindset and resilience, you’re comfortable hearing “no” and pushing forward
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Native Dutch and English.
- This role requires you to be in the office 4 days a week - this is a highly collaborative, team-driven environment
- High energy, coachability, and willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a structured, target-driven environment
- The ability to legally work in the country of hire is required for this position.
