Job Summary: The Slitter Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring slitting equipment to convert large rolls of material into finished products that meet customer specifications. Shifts available: - 2nd Shift 3:30pm-11pm - 3rd Shift 11pm-7:30am #LAT Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate slitter machines according to job orders, work instructions, and specifications
  • Load and unload master rolls using hoists, cranes, or forklifts
  • Adjust knives, spacers, tensions, and guides to ensure accurate cuts and consistent quality
  • Monitor machine performance during operation and make adjustments as needed
  • Inspect finished product for quality, dimensions, and defects
  • Accurately complete production records, scrap reports, and job documentation
  • Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and blade changes
  • Troubleshoot minor mechanical or operational issues and escalate as needed
  • Follow all safety procedures, OSHA regulations, and company policies
  • Work collaboratively with supervisors, maintenance, and quality teams to meet production goals
