The Opportunity

InCharge Energy is seeking a highly organized Site Superintendent to manage EV charging and electrification rollouts. The position reports directly to the Director of Project Management. This role requires significant regional travel and is focused on delivering a timely, customer-centered, turnkey installation experience. Key objectives include leading subcontractors through project completion, maintaining safety and quality standards, reporting on progress, and documenting results.

What You’ll Do

Project Delivery and Closeout

  • Oversee all phases of EV charger installation and commissioning to the highest quality standards
  • Supervise and coordinate construction teams and subcontractors while ensuring compliance with AHJ requirements
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, and Customers to resolve challenges and maintain clear communication throughout the project lifecycle
  • Support subcontractor selection and buyout activities, including coordination of subcontracted work
  • Develop and manage field schedules, including planning, sequencing, and tracking project activities with weekly updates
  • Maintain accurate cost tracking and reporting
  • Schedule subcontractors, vendors, and on-site commissioning activities to meet or exceed project schedules
  • Maintain detailed project documentation including progress reports, change orders, and related records
  • Perform quality control responsibilities for all work performed in the field
  • Ensure the highest safety standards are upheld, including review of daily JHAs, toolbox talks, and related safety documentation
  • Conduct daily site walks to verify quality, safety, and schedule compliance
  • Ensure project sites are maintained in a clean and orderly condition that meets or exceeds customer expectations
  • Identify and complete job progress and closeout punch lists
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to field staff while fostering a collaborative and productive work environment
  • Perform on-site boltdowns and commissioning of chargers
  • Travel to multiple project locations with flexibility to adapt to changing site conditions
  • Manage responsibilities across multiple active project sites simultaneously

Your Experience and Capabilities

  • 10-15+ years of electrical construction experience including hands-on field construction management required
  • Electrical engineering, estimating, or construction background required
  • Electrical Journeyman or higher qualification or state or province equivalent required
  • OSHA 30 certification required
  • Forklift and Lull certifications required
  • ECAP certification or ability to obtain within 120 days of hire
  • EVITP certification or ability to obtain within 120 days of hire
  • Ability to adapt to the evolving needs of a fast-growing startup environment
  • Strong client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, resourceful, and able to operate independently with limited supervision while delivering timely and accurate work
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with Salesforce, Procore, or similar platforms a plus
  • Demonstrated leadership in high-performance environments with the ability to build trust, align teams, and communicate effectively
  • Extensive experience scheduling construction across multiple sites and managing subcontractors and vendors
  • Commercial Driver’s License or ability to obtain one is desirable

Equivalent qualification defined as 8000 hours of hands-on electrical construction experience

US Salary Range
$80,000$110,000 USD
