Your team:

As part of the cross-functional OX Public Sector team, you will support customers in designing, deploying, and operating secure collaboration and communication platforms in Kubernetes-based Linux environments. You will work closely with customers as well as internal product, development, and operations teams to ensure reliable platform deployments and to strengthen digital sovereignty in Germany.

Your new job:

  • Assess customer requirements, technical constraints, and operational environments.
  • Partner with customer technical teams to bridge product and infrastructure gaps.
  • Design solution architectures and high-level system concepts, including cross-system integrations and data flows.
  • Enable customer engineers to deploy and manage our (Kubernetes-based and VM) solutions.
  • Act as a technical point of contact for customers and partners throughout the platform lifecycle.
  • Collaborate internally with engineering, product, and operations teams on behalf of the customer.
  • Support troubleshooting, platform optimization, and operational handovers.
  • Contribute to documentation, best practices, and knowledge sharing across teams.

  • Operating system: Linux
  • Deployment models: Kubernetes-based
  • Deployment & configuration: Helm, Ansible
  • Scripting languages: Bash, Python
  • Protocols: HTTP, SMTP, IMAP
  • Platform components: NGINX, LDAP

Your background:

  • Experience in a customer-facing technical role with a strong Linux background.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes-based platforms and containerized deployments.
  • Familiarity with scripting, automation, and infrastructure tooling.
  • Ability to understand complex technical environments and translate requirements into practical solutions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both German and English. 
  • Intrinsic motivation to take ownership and a passion for open-source technologies, thriving in a low-hierarchy environment.
  • Comfortable working in a remote-first environment with multicultural teams across different time zones.
