YOUR MISSIONS

As part of our Product and Engineering department, you’ll be a part of the Platform tribe and manage a talented group of 4 SREs. Together, you’ll define and implement the company’s cloud infrastructure, ensuring our systems operate efficiently and reliably.

Currently, our main focuses are DRP, monitoring, SLOs and resiliency with multi-region setup.

What is expected of you:

  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Site Reliability Engineers to ensure high performance, growth, and engagement
  • Build and scale the SRE team, define hiring strategy and conduct technical interviews
  • Supporting and guiding SREs through knowledge-sharing and collaboration, fostering continuous improvement across the team
  • Organize and prioritize SRE roadmaps to ensure that the infrastructure is aligned with customer needs (internal and external) (with Alma’s goals ?)
  • Interact with stakeholders and senior management, ensuring alignment and effective communication on key initiatives
  • Promote the team’s work and efforts in the engineering department
  • Manage and operate platform budgets and third-party contracts
  • Promote automation and SRE best practices to optimize operational efficiency

ABOUT YOU

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience with public clouds or Kubernetes
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience with managing or mentoring remote engineers
  • You also have experience in project management, enabling you to oversee and drive initiatives from planning to successful delivery
  • Strong presentation and communication skills to collaborate with different teams and share problems and solutions effectively
  • Experience in operating and promoting monitoring tools and reliability frameworks for an engineering department
  • Practice of Infrastructure as code
  • Solid understanding of incident management and ability to work effectively during critical incidents
  • Practice of English
