DESCRIPTION:

Working at Replica Analytics (acquired by Aetion in Jan. 2022) is an opportunity to advance health care, AI and privacy at the same time – three of the hottest topics in the world today. Our Advanced Technology Engineering group builds and maintains services that power Replica Analytics’ synthetic data generation software. If you enjoy a highly interdisciplinary, innovative and supportive environment, this may be the right job for you.

As a Reliability Engineer on the Replica team, you will be supporting the Data Science team, which works to research and develop new statistical and machine learning methods for the generation and assessment of synthetic data as well as providing consulting services to clients. You will also work closely with our Replica Analytics Engineering team, which is responsible for all aspects of our flagship product, Replica Synthesis, including design, development, deployment, and operation.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Deploy Replica Synthesis to customer environments and support the Data Science Consulting team’s use of the platform
  • Support the Data Science R&D team’s computing and infrastructure requirements
  • Automate handling of internal requests for computing and infrastructure requirements
  • Perform delivery and production support tasks, continually streamlining automation and processes to improve our maturity and efficiency

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Software Engineering roles
  • 2+ years experience developing in Golang, Python, or other programming language
  • 2+ years experience in IaC tools and languages such as Pulumi, Helm, Terraform,Ansible, or Packer
  • 2+ years experience engineering solutions on major cloud provider platforms: Amazon Web Services, GCP or Microsoft Azure
  • Linux administration experience
  • Experience deploying to and orchestrating containers (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
  • Experience automating deployment, scaling, and managing containerized applications
  • Experience supporting infrastructure needs of internal teams
  • Application security knowledge, including encryption, access control, and identity management
  • Experience monitoring distributed applications using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack
