Site Reliability Engineer

AI overview

Design and operate highly reliable infrastructure while implementing automation and observability systems to ensure exceptional platform uptime for ConductorOne's identity security solutions.

ConductorOne is the first AI-native identity security platform that protects every identity: human, non-human, and AI. With powerful automation, platform-level AI, and out-of-the-box connectors, it centralizes access visibility, enforces fine-grained controls, enables just-in-time access, and automates user access reviews across all apps. It’s easy to use, quick to deploy, and trusted by enterprises like DigitalOcean, Instacart, Ramp, and Zscaler.

We’re building the most reliable and secure identity platform in the world. To do that, we need infrastructure that scales, automates, and recovers without skipping a beat. As a Site Reliability Engineer, you’ll help us design, run, and improve the systems that power ConductorOne. Your work makes sure our customers never have to think about whether we’re up or down — we just work.

What you'll do:

  • Design and operate highly reliable infrastructure across our cloud environments.

  • Build automation and tooling to eliminate toil, reduce manual ops, and speed up recovery.

  • Partner with engineering to define and hit SLIs/SLOs, and make reliability part of how we build.

  • Develop observability systems (metrics, logs, tracing) that give us insight before customers notice.

  • Own incident response and postmortems, turning lessons learned into stronger systems.

  • Continuously scale our infrastructure to meet customer demand.

You would be an excellent candidate if...

  • 3+ years of experience as an SRE, DevOps, or production engineer.

  • Strong background in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation, etc.).

  • Familiarity with Kubernetes or other container orchestration.

  • Solid programming or scripting skills (Go, Python, or similar).

  • A track record of improving system reliability and performance at scale.

  • Strong communicator who thrives in collaborative environments.

Extra credit if....

  • Experience with security-sensitive or regulated environments.

  • Familiarity with chaos engineering or fault injection.

  • Knowledge of service meshes or multi-region architectures.

  • Contributions to the SRE or DevOps community (open source, talks, blogs).

What we offer

  • Meaningful equity and competitive compensation.

  • Flexible time off and remote-friendly culture.

  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits.

  • A world-class team of builders who care deeply about our mission.

  • The chance to build reliable infrastructure that secures access for companies everywhere.
