Site Reliability Engineer - Azure DevOps

Must‑Have Skills:

• 7+ years’ IT experience, with 5+ years in DevOps/SRE roles

• Azure DevOps pipelines, repos, and artifacts

• Terraform for Infrastructure as Code on Azure

• AKS & Kubernetes cluster deployment and management

• CI/CD design and automation using Azure DevOps

• Containerization expertise (Docker, Azure Container Apps)

• Monitoring & alerting with Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, or Datadog

• Strong scripting in Bash, PowerShell, or Python

• Deep understanding of networking, DNS, load balancing, and cloud security

• Experience with Azure RBAC/Entra ID, Key Vault, Managed Identities
  
  

Good‑to‑Have Skills:

• Experience with Pulumi for Infrastructure as Code

• Design, implement & maintain CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps

• Provision & manage cloud resources via Terraform and ARM templates

• Deploy & scale AKS clusters, Azure Container Apps, and App Services

• Secure traffic with Application Gateway/WAF, Load Balancer, Front Door

• Implement end‑to‑end observability (Monitor, Log Analytics, App Insights)

• Automate disaster recovery with Azure Site Recovery and backups

• Integrate Key Vault and Managed Identities for secret management

• Collaborate with development teams to optimize release automation

• Continuously improve performance, reliability, and operational efficiency
