OVERVIEW

Are you ready to make an impact in the world of digital commerce? As a Site Merchandising & Web Operations Intern, you will play a key role in shaping the online customer journey by ensuring product accuracy, maintaining set-up and tagging integrity, and optimizing product placement and assortments across our e-commerce platform. Your strong attention to detail and analytical mindset will directly influence how customers discover and engage with our products, driving user experience, conversion, and online sales. 

The ALO internship programs starts June 8th and ends July 31st. Interns will be working 40 hours a week at our Beverly Hills HQ. 

RESPONSIBILITIES  

  • Product Launch PreparationAssist with product setup, product tagging, merchandising, and launch readiness in Shopify for site updates, ensuring accuracy across all product details to optimize customer experience and conversion
  • Daily Product Sorting: Support the site merchandising team in optimizing product sorting algorithms, increasing product discoverability, and aligning with marketing initiatives.
  • Data Analysis and Insights: Monitor site and product performance metrics, analyze customer behavior, and identify trends and optimization opportunities to improve site navigation, product discoverability, user experience, and conversion rates. 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business, E-commerce or a related field 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with the ability to analyze data trends and create impactful presentations
  • Proactive & driven, strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a strategic mindset for digital merchandising 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento), analytical tools (Google Analytics, Tableau, Heap, etc) or content management systems is a plus 
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data trends and contribute to strategic merchandising decisions
  • Passion for e-commerce, digital marketing, and the fashion industry
  • Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to contribute innovative ideas to improve customer experience

The base pay range for this position is $25/hr-$35/hr which represents the current range for the non-exempt position. Please note that actual pay will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.

Eligibility: This internship is open to students who are recent graduates or current seniors with graduation dates in Spring 2025, Winter 2025, and Spring 2026. Unfortunately, we are not able to consider candidates graduating in Winter 2026 or later at this time.
