Silicon Product eFA Engineer

We have an opportunity for an experienced eFA Engineer with a proven track record of fault isolation and failure analysis of complex SoCs. In this high visibility role, you will be able to influence design quality to meet silicon sign-off specs. The role involves working closely with diverse teams within Rivos as well as external vendors. Occasional travel might be required. Responsibilities
  • Perform device level fault isolation to support new product development, yield excursion, qualification, and customer returns
  • Design experiments using Scan, MBIST and Functional test patterns to narrow down the focus area to root-cause manufacturing defects and speed path issues during Silicon bringup and validation phase
  • Drive failure analysis and corrective action at Foundry and OSAT
  • Provide critical feedback to PD, STA, DFT teams for design improvements to recover performance
  • Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years experience performing FA / FI of IC devices on advanced process nodes.
  • Hands-on proficiency with electrical fault isolation tools and techniques such as photo-emission, static and dynamic laser stimulation, LVx, scan diagnostic techniques, ATE, thermal imaging, nano-probing, and applications bench testing.
  • In-depth understanding of CAD layout, ATE and bench test data logs, digital and analog circuits, device physics, IC fabrication and assembly.
