SHRM Foundation- WeCon Fundraiser Committee Members

Founded in 1966, the SHRM Foundation is the 501(c)(3) philanthropic arm of the world's largest HR professional society, SHRM. Utah SHRM supports SHRM Foundation by: 

-Educating conference attendee of the purpose and ongoing activities of the SHRM Foundation including the Foundation’s newest education resources, the status of the annual campaign and upcoming deadlines and events.

-Encouraging conference attendees to contribute financially to the SHRM Foundation as a show of support for the human resources profession.

Utah SHRM Foundation is seeking 3-4 volunteers to join the SHRM Foundation Committee to assist with the Fundraiser that will occur during Utah SHRM's Work Elevated (WeCon) Conference that will be held SEPTEMBER 25 – 27, 2023 at the ECCLES CONFERENCE CENTER, OGDEN, UTAH.

Committee members will be expected to:

Regularly attend committee meetings

Coordinate and obtain items/services, etc for the silent auction

Spend at least one day of the conference (SEPTEMBER 25 – 27, 2023) supporting the SHRM Foundation silent auction booth

Assist in collection of payment from silent auction winners 

In return for meeting committee member expectations, committee members will be allowed to attend the WeCon conference at no cost.
