Purpose of the Assignment

The EU–PNG Partnership for Good Governance (P4GG) is in its final phase of implementation. The assignment will provide short-term communications and visibility support focused on project closure activities and the final project event. The role is strictly time-bound and requires immediate availability.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

•         Support final project communications and visibility activities.

•         Prepare communications materials for the final project event.

•         Draft press releases, stories, and visibility products in line with EU requirements.

•         Manage external communications and media engagement related to project closure.

•         Liaise with the National Authorising Officer and relevant stakeholders to ensure EU approval of all visibility materials.

•         Capture and compile photos, quotes, and short video materials highlighting project achievements.

•         Organise and archive communications materials for final reporting.

•         Support communication of project results and impact.

 

Required Qualifications and Experience

•         University degree in communications, journalism, media studies, public relations, or a related field.

•         Minimum 3 years’ experience in communications and visibility roles.

•         Proven experience drafting press releases, newsletters, website content, and reports.

•         Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

•         Strong organisational skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.

•         High level of computer literacy.
