Saronic Technologies is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Shipping and Receiving Coordinator to support the efficient movement of materials, components, and finished goods across our operations.
This role is responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring materials are received, stored, and distributed in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The Shipping and Receiving Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting production schedules, supplier performance, and overall supply chain efficiency in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
You will serve as a key point of contact for logistics-related activities, working closely with procurement, production, quality, warehouse, and external freight partners to ensure timely and compliant material flow.
Responsibilities
Coordinate and execute inbound and outbound shipments, including scheduling carriers and preparing shipping documentation.
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and packing slips.
Ensure accurate inventory transactions within ERP or inventory management systems.
Track shipments and proactively communicate delivery status updates to internal stakeholders.
Oversee inventory levels and support cycle counts and physical inventory activities.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers, freight forwarders, carriers, and logistics partners.
Ensure all shipping and receiving activities comply with company policies, quality standards, and applicable regulatory requirements (including defense-related shipping regulations, where applicable).
Identify and resolve shipment discrepancies, damages, shortages, or documentation issues in a timely manner.
Continuously evaluate and improve shipping and receiving processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Serve as the primary point of contact for internal logistics inquiries.
Generate reports and analyze logistics data to support operational decision-making.
Qualifications
Additional certifications or training in logistics or supply chain management.
Experience in high-tech, manufacturing, or defense-related industries.
Familiarity with regulated shipping environments and documentation requirements.
Physical Demands
Frequent standing, walking, and movement within warehouse and production areas.
Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 pounds, with or without assistance.
Manual dexterity to operate scanners, computers, and warehouse equipment.
Visual acuity to inspect materials and read shipping documentation.
Occasional bending, stooping, reaching, and climbing as required in a warehouse setting.
