Shift Manager

Reporting to the Production Manager, the Shift Manager plays a critical leadership role in driving the daily success of our manufacturing facility ensuring smooth production flow, exceptional quality standards, and efficient merchandising and packaging operations.

• Provides general leadership and management to all types of printing processes, manufacturing, packaging, fulfillment, and other areas
• Provides direct supervision to Leads and Operators
• Reports on daily /​ weekly /​ monthly metrics
• Performs assigned duties that fall within the scope of this job as defined by the Production Manager
• Provides plant performance measurements and reporting
• Responsible for labor planning
• Implements new systems, policies and procedures
• Promotes and drive quality process
• Responsible for safety in all areas such as processing and behavioral
• Assures adherence to OSHA policies and standards
• Executes assigned task timely
• Develops teams
• Interacts closely with other departments outside of operations
• Drives continuous improvement 

• 5 years prior experience supervising direct reports
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple priorities and develop effective solutions
• Ability to write concise operation reports with appropriate supporting graphical and presentation exhibits
• Demonstrates Project and Process Management skills
• Formal Process Improvement Training preferred (i.e. Lean, Six Sigma)
• Strong interpersonal/​communication and analytical skills
• Knowledge of Word, Excel and MRP systems also a plus
• Able to stand for long periods of time, lift up to 50 lbs., mobility to crouch, kneel, reach, bend and do repetitive actions with hands and arms 

• High School Diploma or GED
