SharePoint/Power Platform Developer

Salary: <$115k (depending on experience)

Work Location: Hybrid remote/in-office (please see on-site requirements below)

**On-Site Requirements: Position will require on-site work at Patuxent River, MD one - two days per week. Future on-site/telework requirements/schedules may change as additional client direction is received.  

Job Description: 

• Design, develop, test, and maintain custom M365 applications using Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI), the SharePoint Framework (SPFx), and related technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, REST APIs, Graph API).
• Develop, deploy, and maintain Power Automate flows and Power Platform solutions to optimize business processes.
• Support the administration and troubleshooting of SharePoint and SharePoint Online (SPO) sites, ensuring functionality and resolving technical issues.
• Serve as the primary Power BI analyst, ensuring accurate data collection, analytics, and dashboard functionality.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, develop solutions, and ensure SharePoint and Power Platform implementations align with business needs.
• Assist in IT problem resolution, ensuring proper system/application operability and maintenance.
• Conduct technical research, introduce innovative IT solutions, and provide recommendations on SharePoint interfaces and applications.
• Support software lifecycle processes, including testing strategies, issue resolution, and seamless transition from legacy systems.
• Work with IT leadership to balance technical feasibility with project constraints, optimizing solutions within existing IT frameworks.
• Develop and maintain user documentation, standard operating procedures, and training materials for SharePoint and Power Platform applications.

Requirements

Required:

• Experience developing, testing, and troubleshooting Microsoft Power Platform applications (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI)
• Experience designing, configuring, building, and maintaining SharePoint lists, libraries, and sites
• Experience gathering business requirements and developing IT solutions to meet organizational needs
• BS/BA degree and 3 years related experience OR AA/AS degree and 7 years related experience OR HS and 9 years related experience.

Desired:

• Experience developing custom experiences using SharePoint Framework (SPFx), including SharePoint REST API and Graph API integration
• Experience with React.js development
• Experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA)

Education/Experience: 

BS/BA degree and 3 years related experience OR AA/AS degree and 7 years related experience OR HS and 9 years related experience.

Security Clearance: 

Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance.  Active Secret clearance desired, interim Secret acceptable to start. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.
