Job Responsibilities:

  • Process and finalise finance settlements efficiently and accurately.
  • Liaise with lenders, clients, and internal teams to ensure a smooth settlement process.
  • Manage and track settlement transactions through COG – Settlement Portal.
  • Review and verify financial agreements and contracts for accuracy and compliance.
  • Coordinate with clients to retrieve required documentation for finance processing.
  • Conduct background checks and ensure all settlement conditions are met.
  • Maintain and update financial records, reports, and Excel spreadsheets.
  • Handle customer inquiries, providing professional and timely support.
  • Work closely with sales teams, understanding the role's connection to the sales process.
  • Assist in process improvements and proactively manage settlement pipeline

Requirements

  • 6 months – 2 years of settlement experience in finance, banking, or a related field.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Experience dealing with lenders is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Excel for data management and reporting.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, with clear pronunciation and good pacing.
  • Customer service experience with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple transactions efficiently.
  • Familiarity with financial agreements, contracts, and loan calculators.
  • Willingness to work an additional day on the weekend if the last day of the month falls on a weekend.
  • Must have a stable internet connection
