About the Role

The Service Delivery Project Manager role is central to our client-facing operations, acting as the critical link between sales, implementation, and ongoing service excellence. Your focus will be on expertly coordinating customized client projects, transforming new client relationships into successful, long-term partnerships. This position is vital for both ensuring client satisfaction through flawless project execution and simultaneously driving internal efficiency improvements across our Service Delivery teams. The role demands a powerful blend of external client-facing finesse and internal operational optimization capabilities.

This role will work within federal client boundaries. Successful applicants must be US citizens with willingness and ability to receive necessary security clearances.

What You’ll Do

Most days in the Services Delivery Project Manager role involve daily project lifecycle management, encompassing planning, execution, strategy, operational delivery, and stakeholder/budget management.

  • Formulate and manage end-to-end project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to scope, and tracking expenditures.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple complex projects simultaneously, ensuring project milestones are met.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing their expectations, communicating project status, updates, and risks, and acting as an escalation point for concerns to ensure timely and effective resolution.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, delighting customers, and driving client retention and account growth.
  • Coordinate between clients and the project team, communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders, and providing regular updates on progress and needs.
  • Delegate responsibilities and oversee the work of the team and team leads, providing guidance and motivation to drive performance.
  • Collaborate with Infrastructure, Engineering, Product, and Services teams globally and other departments to ensure alignment, client satisfaction, and on-time delivery of support and service.
  • Design, implement, and continuously innovate best practices and methodologies to improve project outcomes, systems, and processes, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness in project delivery.
  • Analyze data to identify opportunities for project delivery and management enhancement and operational efficiency.
  • Provide strategic advice to the Global Head of Services Operations with an accurate view of client needs and the future of implementation, onboarding, and the PM team.
  • Establish well-supported solutions with specific recommendations to enable the Board to make critical decisions.
  • Ensure resources are allocated effectively across projects.
  • Perform project monitoring, tracking, and reporting.
  • Provide post-launch support.

Requirements

Especially if you can tell us about your:

  • 4+ years experience in a client facing role
  • 2+ years work experience in education or ed-tech
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills and ability to multi-task with frequent interruptions
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in teams
  • Exceptional listening, written, and oral communication
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Customer focused with an understanding that both internal and external customers require you to meet their needs in a professional and understanding manner
  • Strong understanding of e-learning platforms, preferably with Moodle experience
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to engage effectively across cultural contexts
  • Experience in managing distributed project teams across multiple time zones
  • Strategic thinking and planning capabilities
  • Strong people management and leadership abilities
  • Customer-centric mindset with commitment to service excellence
  • Ability to work effectively in a global, multicultural environment
  • US citizenship with willingness and ability to obtain appropriate security clearances for US government projects. 

Experience in the following areas is a plus:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field preferred
  • PMP certification or equivalent
  • Experience with open-source software communities
  • Knowledge of educational technology trends and challenges
  • Experience with Moodle LMS
