We are seeking a ServiceNow System Administrator to provide day-to-day operational support and maintenance on the ServiceNow platform for our client. This role will be responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and availability of existing production capabilities, including (but not limited to) IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Asset Management (ITAM), Workplace Service Delivery (WSD), Software Asset Management (SAM), and IT Operations Management (ITOM).
Requirements
- Responsible for performing day-to-day operations and maintenance tasks for the ServiceNow platform
- Monitor and troubleshoot system performance issues and take corrective actions as needed
- Ensure availability and reliability of the ServiceNow platform, including backups and disaster recovery planning
- Manage user access and security, and implement security best practices
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and industry standards
- Participate in the design and implementation of new ServiceNow applications, processes and workflows
- Provide technical support and training to end users
- Communicate with stakeholders and manage change requests to ensure the ServiceNow platform meets the evolving needs of FHFA
Experience/Skills
- US Citizen
4+ years of overall IT experience supporting enterprise systems, service management processes, and end-user support operations.
2+ years of recent hands-on experience administering the ServiceNow platform, including configuration, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance.
Experience supporting and configuring ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITAM, WSD, SAM, and ITOM in a production environment.
Skilled in ServiceNow user and group administration, role-based access control, and maintaining data integrity across CMDB and asset records.
Experience configuring workflows, forms, fields, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, notifications, and SLAs to support business requirements.
Familiarity with ITIL-based processes such as Incident, Request, Problem, Change, Knowledge, and Asset lifecycle management.
Experience supporting integrations and data imports using Import Sets, Transform Maps, and scheduled jobs to ensure accurate and timely data updates.
Ability to monitor platform health, troubleshoot performance issues, and resolve incidents related to ServiceNow functionality.
Experience developing and maintaining dashboards, reports, and KPIs to support operational visibility and leadership reporting.
Strong documentation skills, including creation of SOPs, knowledge articles, and technical guidance for users and support teams
