Summary

The Service Technician I provides maintenance, service, and repair for commercial cooking equipment and commercial refrigeration i.e., grills, fryers, ovens, ice machines, reach-in and walk-in coolers, freezers, etc. 

Details

·       Diagnoses, troubleshoots, and repair kitchen equipment, refrigeration, and or HVAC.

·       Communicates repair status updates with customer and branch office.

·       Communicates parts information with branch. 

·       Completes service calls accurately, timely, and with a safety mindset.

·       Audits truck stock to ensure required parts are stocked.

·       Maintains service vehicle, tools, and uniforms consistent with company policies and procedures.  

·       Meets on-call requirements.

Required Education | Experience.

·       1-2 years or experience commercial kitchen repair and or refrigeration/HVAC service and repair. 

·       High school graduate/GED or the equivalent in experience

Skills and Abilities 

·       Ability to work independently.

·       Ability to accurately diagnose and troubleshoot:

·       An electrical, installation, and mechanical background would be a plus. 

·       Journeyman License and or CFESA certification would be a plus, but not required.  

·       Strong attention to detail.

·       Excellent communication and soft skills.

·       Good driving record.
