Job Overview: 

The Commercial Hot-Side technician diagnoses, troubleshoots, and repairs commercial kitchen equipment: gas, electric, and or steam.

Hot-Side Technician Primary Responsibilities:

• Diagnoses, troubleshoots, and repairs commercial kitchen equipment that uses gas, electric, and steam to include grills, ovens, fryers, etc.  

• Communicates parts order(s) and repair status with customer and or branch office.
• Completes service calls accurately and in a timely manner.
• Audits truck stock to ensure required parts are stocked.
• Maintains service vehicle, tools, and uniforms consistent with company guidelines. 
• Meet on-call requirements.

Requirements:

• Three years of commercial kitchen repair experience; Experience with electrical, gas, and or steam would be a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Skills, Abilities and Other Requirements:

• Ability to work independently
• Ability to accurately diagnose and troubleshoot; automotive, electrical, installation, and mechanical background is a plus. 
• Journeyman License and or CFESA certification would be a plus.  
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and soft skills.
• Good driving record
