Municipal Valve and Equipment is hiring a Service Technician (Apprentice) in Addison, TX. The Service Technician (Apprentice) is required to travel up to 50% of the time. Travel territory will include Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana. Most of the travel will be throughout Texas. What you will do:

Installation: Install new equipment and products, and test them to ensure they work correctly

Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and equipment upkeep

Repair: Diagnose problems and repair faulty equipment

Customer support: Provide customer support and educate customers on how to use and maintain their equipment

Record keeping: Keep detailed records of services performed, including repair history

Safety: Follow company safety policies and drive responsibly

Travel 50% of the time within Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana

Background/ EXperience:

Some mechanical experience preferred

Basic knowledge of single & three phase electric

Competent with tools and basic mechanical practices

Clean driving record and valid driver license

Must be willing to learn, attend manufacturer training classes, and on the job training from experienced technicians
