Role Overview

The Service Sales Coordinator will support the service sales and business development function by coordinating sales activities, assisting in lead management, client communication, proposal preparation, and internal coordination. This is a junior, entry level role designed to build foundational experience in service sales, customer engagement, and commercial operations.

The role works closely with the Lead Service Sales, service delivery teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of sales processes and effective client support.

Location - Gurugram

Responsibilities

 Sales & Business Development Support:

• Assist in identifying and qualifying service sales leads from various sources

• Support lead tracking, follow-ups, and documentation in CRM systems

• Help prepare sales data, market insights, and basic competitor information

• Coordinate meetings, calls, and follow-ups with prospective and existing clients

 Client Coordination & Relationship Support:

• Support ongoing relationships with existing service clients to ensure continuity

• Coordinate service-related communication between clients and internal teams

• Assist in maintaining accurate client records and communication logs

 Proposal & Documentation Support:

• Assist in preparing service proposals, quotations, presentations, and contracts

• Coordinate with internal teams to gather technical, commercial, and pricing inputs

• Ensure proposals are submitted on time and as per client requirements

• Maintain organized records of proposals, contracts, and approvals

 Internal Coordination:

• Liaise with service delivery teams to align client requirements with service scope

• Coordinate for service renewals, extensions, and follow-up actions

• Support the Lead Service Sales in tracking opportunities and pipeline status

• Assist in preparing sales reports, dashboards, and management updates

 Sales Process & Reporting:

• Update CRM systems with leads, opportunities, and client interactions

• Track sales activities, service renewals, and contract timelines

• Support preparation of weekly/monthly sales reports and forecasts

• Ensure compliance with internal sales processes and documentation standards

 Learning & Market Awareness:

• Gain understanding of service offerings, contracts, and value propositions

• Stay updated on basic industry trends, customer needs, and service market dynamics

• Participate in internal training and knowledge-sharing sessions

Requirements

• A Bachelor of Engineering degree in Instrumental, Mechanical, or Electromechanical field or bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing. Master's degree is a plus.

• 2 to 3 years of experience in service coordination, sales support, customer support, or related roles

• Exposure to service industry, technical sales, or aftermarket services is an advantage

• Strong coordination and organizational skills

• Good communication and interpersonal abilities

• Customer-focused mindset

• Basic understanding of sales and service processes

• Ability to work in a structured, fast-paced environment

• Attention to detail and documentation accuracy

• Willingness to learn and grow into a service sales role

• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM tools

• Willingness to travel, when required.
