Role Overview:

We are looking for a data-driven and strategic SEO Lead to drive organic growth, search visibility, and traffic acquisition. This role will own Apna’s SEO roadmap, working cross-functionally with content, product, and engineering teams to enhance discoverability and rankings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy to increase organic traffic and user engagement.
• Must run Programmatic SEO strategies to drive large-scale organic traffic.
• Conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, and content optimization to improve rankings.
• Collaborate with content, product, and tech teams to implement SEO best practices.
• Optimize site structure, technical SEO, and page speed to enhance search performance.
• Track, analyze, and report SEO metrics using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEMrush/Ahrefs.
• Stay updated on search engine algorithm updates, AI-driven search trends, and industry best practices.
• Lead link-building efforts and off-page SEO strategies for better domain authority.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in SEO, growth marketing, or organic acquisition.
• Proven track record of scaling organic traffic and improving SERP rankings.
• Expertise in Python, SQL, and automation for scalable SEO solutions. 
• Experience working with large datasets and automating workflows.
• Hands-on experience with SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, etc.).
• Strong understanding of technical SEO, schema markup, and Core Web Vitals.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, data-driven environment with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in app store optimization (ASO) is a plus.
