SEO & AEO Manager |📍London – Hybrid | 💰Competitive Salary + Benefits
About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced SEO & AEO/GEO Manager to accelerate Moonpig’s organic growth and strengthen our brand visibility across traditional search and AI-led discovery.
Based in London (Hybrid working) and sitting within our Performance Marketing team, this is a strategic, commercially focused role at the heart of our Cards business. You’ll own and evolve our SEO and AEO strategy across markets — ensuring we win high-intent demand, stay visible in a rapidly changing search landscape, and deliver peak-ready performance for our most important trading moments: Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and Christmas.
You’ll work closely with Product, Design & Tech (PDT), country leads, and our Digital PR agency partner to turn search opportunity into prioritised, commercially justified action that drives visibility, customer acquisition, and revenue.
Key Responsibilities
Set and evolve Moonpig’s SEO + AEO strategy across markets, aligned to commercial priorities and customer needs
Build and run an annual SEO + AEO trading calendar to ensure peak readiness for Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and Christmas (planning, build, QA, launch, monitoring and post-peak review)
Partner with Product, Design & Tech to diagnose, scope and deliver technical SEO improvements (crawlability, indexation, site architecture, internal linking, Core Web Vitals, structured data), embedding “SEO-by-design” into product development
Create strong commercial prioritisation cases for technical SEO/AEO initiatives, clearly framing impact, trade-offs, risks and opportunity cost
Lead the organic content programme via our Digital PR agency, setting direction, briefing standards, QA processes and optimisation cycles aligned to category goals and peaks
Advance Moonpig’s AEO maturity by defining what success looks like, running structured discovery and converting insights into a measurable roadmap
Establish monitoring and governance to identify success signals and mitigate risks, including visibility volatility, brand misrepresentation and competitive movement
Produce clear, stakeholder-ready reporting that explains performance, commercial impact, next steps and required decisions
Ensure the right SEO & AEO tooling is in place to identify high-impact opportunities and monitor competitor visibility, translating insight into action
Act as a trusted partner to country leads, aligning global best practice with local nuance
Simplify complex SEO and AEO concepts into clear, compelling guidance that brings stakeholders on the journey — especially during peak planning and delivery
About You
Proven experience owning and delivering SEO growth in a complex retail or eCommerce environment, including high-stakes seasonal peaks
Strong technical SEO expertise and experience partnering with Product and Engineering teams to influence delivery
A track record of building compelling commercial cases to secure roadmap prioritisation
Experience managing external partners or agencies with clear briefing, QA and performance management
Working knowledge of AEO / answer-led / AI-influenced discovery, with the ability to define success metrics and manage risk in a fast-moving space
Confident using analytics and search toolsets to diagnose performance, measure impact and shape recommendations
An excellent communicator who can translate complexity into clarity
Collaborative, pragmatic and comfortable working cross-functionally across markets
