Position Overview:
 
The Wireless Systems Engineer implements effective infrastructure solutions and will be responsible for planning, designing, as well as supporting deployment efforts for our clients for the delivery of project-based assignments including proof-of-concept, analysis, design/architecture, deployment and support.
 
This is a remote role but will involve travel to customer sites across the United States.

What you will do as the Wireless Systems Engineer:

  • Perform wireless surveys using Ekahau Wireless Survey Software
  • Warehouse, production facilities, hospitals, arenas, stadiums, outdoor campus, etc.
  • Identify and troubleshoot hardware and software technical problems related to wireless
  • Experience using Spectrum Analyzer and analyzing collected RF data to determine cell boundaries
  • Participate in various client projects intended to continually improve/upgrade wireless infrastructures
  • Manages multiple wireless projects
  • Knowledge of Cisco and Aruba wireless technologies
  • Implementation of Cisco and Aruba wireless networking solutions
  • Create technical design documents and implementation plans
 
What you will bring to the team:
 
  • Experience with the following wireless technologies:
    • Wireless encryption and cyphers, Cisco Hyperlocation, RTLS, MESH, Point to Point, BLE, Autonomous access points
    • 1+ years’ experience wireless survey and design
    • 1+ years’ experience designing and deploying wireless network solutions
    • Understanding of wireless voice and data solutions
    • Give technical direction and oversight to survey teams
    • Author full site survey reports based on survey data using Visio and Microsoft Word
    • Monitor ongoing progress and make recommendations for improvement in efficiency
    • Interact with customers IT teams on a daily basis

  • CCIE Wireless
  • CWNE
  • ACMP
  • ACMX
  • ECSE
