Senior Web Application Developer - Medical Imaging

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, document, validate, and maintain robust and scalable web applications for the review and manipulation of 3D medical images.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement user-friendly interfaces.
  • Integrate backend services and APIs to support web application functionality.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Drive the release and monitoring of web application components.
  • Participate with the rest of the team in supporting production.
  • Participate in cross-functional conversations with Product team, Process Engineering team, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications required:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related is required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of relevant industry experience in web application development.
  • Strong proficiency in Typescript or JavaScript.
  • Experience with modern web frameworks (Vue.js preferred).
  • Excellent understanding of software development best practices: testing, CI/CD, agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

How you stand out:

  • Experience with medical imaging in web applications.
  • Experience with WebGL or other 3D graphics libraries.
  • Experience with cloud-based infrastructure (Amazon Web Services or equivalent) for web application deployment.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

A reasonable estimate of the base salary compensation range is $150,000 to $215,000 (for San Francisco Bay Area), cash bonus, and stock options.
