The Role
We’re looking for a Senior Visual & UI Designer who lives at the intersection of brand, marketing, and product.
This is a craft-driven, visual-first role with strong ownership on Numa’s digital visual part. You will be part of the Design team, reporting to the Head of Design, and embedded directly into the Booking Experience squad, working day-to-day with a Product Manager and Engineers.
Your mission is to elevate Numa’s visual language across product and brand, translate high-level brand concepts into functional, scalable UI systems, and deliver bold, high-quality design that feels unmistakably Numa.
UX thinking is important — but visual excellence, UI craft, and aesthetic consistency come first in this role.
What You’ll Do
1. Own the Visual & UI Quality of the Booking Experience
- Take ownership of homepage, search, booking page from a visual and UI perspective.
- Design high-impact, conversion-focused interfaces that feel premium, clear, and emotionally engaging.
- Partner closely with PM and Engineers to bring strong visual concepts into production with high fidelity.
- Ensure consistency and excellence across responsive web and native contexts.
2. Bridge Brand, Marketing & Product
- Work closely with Brand team to translate high-level brand ideas into functional, usable design language.
- Turn brand concepts into real UI language: components, layouts, visual patterns, and styling that teams can actually use.
- Contribute to the evolution of brand guidelines, focusing on how brand lives inside product, offline and online communications.
- Navigate ambiguous briefs and evolving brand direction, turning them into clear visual narratives, layouts, and system-ready components that teams can ship with confidence.
3. Push Visual Craft & Design Culture
- Set a high bar for visual quality, consistency, and polish across all guest-facing touchpoints.
- Champion strong aesthetic decisions and articulate the “why” behind them.
- Collaborate with other designers to ensure a shared visual language across Brand, Marketing, and Product.
- Contribute to design system evolution from a visual and UI perspective.
What You Should Bring (Must have)

5+ years of experience in visual, UI, or product design for consumer-facing products.
- Experience working across both Brand/Creative and Product design contexts, either in a hybrid role or through close collaboration.
- Background in brand-led, design-driven B2C environments (e-commerce, fashion, lifestyle, hospitality, or premium consumer products).
- Strong visual and UI design craft, with a portfolio demonstrating high aesthetic quality and brand expression in digital products.
- Ability to translate high-level brand concepts into functional, scalable UI systems.
- Experience working with or contributing to design systems that bridge brand and product.
- You will collaborate with your stakeholders to facilitate alignment, create shared understanding, and communicate your design rationale.
- You’ll be a thought partner to your Product Manager, Brand Manager, building the product strategy and roadmap together
Nice to Have
- Experience with booking, checkout, or other conversion-driven flows.
- Motion or interaction design skills.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted design or emerging creative tools.
- Experience working in fast-scaling or multi-market products.
The Team & Setup
- You’ll be part of a small, very talent design team, reporting directly to the Head of Design.
- You’ll be embedded in the Booking Experience squad, collaborating daily with PMs and Engineers.
- This role has strong visibility and impact across product, brand, and marketing, and offers room to grow into a lead-level role over time.
