Accountabilities

  • Define and execute the engineering vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with company objectives and product roadmaps.
  • Lead technical strategy for AI, cloud, and connectivity initiatives, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Build, mentor, and scale a world-class engineering organization across multiple geographies.
  • Establish processes, structures, and metrics to drive predictable, efficient, and high-quality software delivery.
  • Champion modern engineering practices, including DevOps, CI/CD, observability, automation, and secure development.
  • Collaborate with Product, Architecture, and Operations teams to ensure seamless end-to-end execution.
  • Communicate technical vision, progress, and risks to executive stakeholders and global teams.

Requirements

  • 20+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 8 years in senior executive leadership roles.
  • Proven success in scaling large, distributed engineering organizations in fast-growing software or SaaS companies.
  • Deep expertise in cloud-native architectures, AI/ML integration, connectivity, and modern DevOps practices.
  • Strong experience managing multi-disciplinary teams (engineering, quality, operations) across international locations.
  • Exceptional leadership, organizational design, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strategic thinker with hands-on operational experience and a track record of delivering high-quality software at scale.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in French is a plus.
  • Based in Europe with the ability to collaborate across global time zones.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or equivalent experience is a plus.
