Senior UX Designer

TripArc’s UX team is looking for an experienced designer to work as a strategic partner on key initiatives. Our multi-functional UX team is focused on requirements, client insights, and product design to support ongoing feature releases across multiple proprietary technology platforms, with the goal of driving sales performance and revenue growth. Our UX team acts as the voice of hundreds of Destination Experts and Travel Advisors who use our technology products to manage the business of travel, from itinerary building to quote and booking management. Your work will involve solving interesting and complex user flow and interface challenges, creating wireframes, prototypes and/or visual designs, and overseeing the visual interface for the web-based products or applications. You will become the owner and expert of your domain, gaining a deep understanding of the platform and the overall market.  

 

As a member of the UX Design team, you will: 

  • Identify user needs, sketch solutions with prototypes, test ideas, and refine designs with data and user feedback. 
  • Gain a thorough understanding of the market and competitive landscape as part of the discovery process.  
  • Work closely with your trifecta (UX, product and development teams) and stakeholders to develop solutions to new problems while bringing consistency, simplicity, and ease-of-use to the experience of our products. 
  • Design and prototype intuitive solutions for web and mobile environments. 
  • Document detailed interaction models and UI specifications. 
  • Collaborate with other designers to maintain design consistency and coherence across all our platforms and promote the best UI practices to other designers, engineers, and product owners. 
  • Balance business goals with user needs when designing solutions, ensuring that your solutions drive impact for both. 

 

Qualifications 

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in UX design. 
  • An online portfolio showcasing your UX design work. 
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., User Experience, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related discipline) 

 

Skills We’re Looking For 

  • Strong UX and visual design skills, with the ability to leverage and expand upon an existing design system. 
  • Proven experience delivering design solutions in ambiguous and evolving problem spaces with the ability to iterate fast. 
  • A passion for innovation, balanced by the ability to address business needs and user expectations. 
  • A curious, continuous-learning mindset. 
  • Proven ability to build trust, accept and provide feedback, across all levels of the organization.
