Senior User Experience Designer (UI / UX / IxD)

Day to Day responsibilities:

Design is a multifaceted discipline, and hence while we value your knowledge in UI design, we value diversity of knowledge that will positively influence the UX of solutions. 

• Execute research activities
• Apply design heuristics
• Apply information organisation practices to improve access and findability
• Design high-fidelity, intuitive and self-revealing products
• Design for multiple interfaces (mobile, desktop, conversation, voice, etc)
• Apply universal design techniques to achieve inclusivity
• Test products to make sure they are useful and usable
• Create designs that address different use scenarios
• Maintain the design system
• Hand-off design artifacts to developers
• Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
• Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
• Highlights any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.

Mandatory Skills (with Required Experience)

• IxD / UX Design (3+ yrs): End-to-end UX delivery across research, design, testing, and product execution.

• User Research & Testing (3+ yrs): Planning and conducting qualitative/quantitative research and usability testing; synthesizing insights for design improvements.

• Information Architecture (3+ yrs): Structuring content, navigation, and information for improved findability and comprehension.

• UI & Visual Design (3+ yrs): Applying layout, typography, color, and hierarchy to produce high-fidelity, intuitive interfaces.

• Multi-Platform Design (2+ yrs): Designing for mobile, desktop, responsive web, and emerging interfaces (voice/conversational).

• High-Fidelity Prototyping (3+ yrs): Creating production-ready prototypes for validation and developer handoff.

• Usability & Design Heuristics (3+ yrs): Applying usability heuristics and human-centered design principles.

• Accessibility / Inclusive Design (2+ yrs): Designing for accessibility and inclusive user groups.

• Design Systems (2+ yrs): Maintaining and applying design systems for consistency and scalability.

• Design-to-Dev Handoff (3+ yrs): Preparing UI specs, assets, and interaction requirements for engineering teams.

• SDLC & Agile/Waterfall Collaboration (3+ yrs): Working within structured delivery models alongside cross-functional teams.

• Risk / Compliance Awareness (2+ yrs): Considering regulatory and business constraints within design decisions.
