Job Description

Staff4Me is on the lookout for a Senior Transmission Line Engineer to enhance our engineering team. This role requires a deep understanding of high voltage transmission lines, along with substantial experience in design, analysis, and project management. As a Senior Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient, safe, and reliable delivery of power through our transmission projects.

Key Responsibilities

Design and analyze transmission line systems, ensuring adherence to industry standards and safety regulations.
Conduct load-flow and fault analysis, providing insights to improve system reliability and efficiency.
Prepare comprehensive design reports, specifications, and technical documentation for project implementation.
Collaborate closely with project managers, regulatory bodies, and construction teams to ensure successful project execution.
Provide mentorship and support to junior engineers in design methodologies and best practices.
Review and critique designs and calculations submitted by engineering staff.
Identify and resolve design and execution issues throughout project lifecycles.
Stay current with advancements in transmission technology and infrastructure development trends.

Requirements

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
5+ years of experience in transmission line engineering or a related field.
Proficiency with design analysis software such as PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, or equivalent tools.
Strong knowledge of transmission line construction techniques and materials.
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities and experience managing projects.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
