THE ROLE

The Senior Transactions Analyst heads the transactional team, the engine that drives revenue recognition and cash collection, under the leadership of the Finance Manager.  This newly created role brings together accounts payable and accounts receivable and creates a single, accountable owner of the full billing cycle: from In-Country Partner (ICP) invoice receipt through to client cash collected and reconciled.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN

The Senior Transactions Analyst will be responsible for the following key areas:

•      End-to-end billing cycle: From ICP invoice receipt and validation, through pricing application, to client invoice raising and client account reconciliation.

•      Finance Analyst team: Manage 2–4 analysts, each owning a portfolio of clients end-to-end

•      ICP relationship management (financial): Ensure ICP invoices are received, validated, and coded accurately and on time

•      Pricing accuracy: Ensure contractual terms (pass-through plus margin, fixed fee, or bespoke) are correctly applied to every client invoice.

•      Client account reconciliations: Prepare monthly reconciliations for all client portfolios.

•      Margin visibility: Produce and maintain client-level margin reporting for the Finance Business Partner and Head of Finance.

•      Process improvement: Lead Order-to-Cash redesign, automation and continuous improvement of the ICP-to-client invoice matching process.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking a candidate with the following qualifications and experience to excel in the Senior Transactions Analyst role:

•      Experience in transactional finance: AP, AR, or end-to-end billing management.

•      Multi-currency: Strong understanding of multi-currency invoicing and FX exposure in a billing context.

•      Client facing: Demonstrable experience managing a client-facing or portfolio-based billing function.

•      Proven people management skills: Able to set clear expectations, develop analysts, and hold the team accountable.

•      Qualifications: Qualified or Part-qualified (AAT, ACCA, CIMA).

•      Systems Proficiency: Strong Excel and financial systems skills; experience with AP/AR automation platforms is an advantage.

•      Industry: Experience in EOR, staffing, professional services, or a similarly complex billing model (strongly preferred)
