Senior Test Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable end-to-end automated test frameworks for mobile, web, and hardware-integrated systems in Golf and Baseball domains
• Own and evolve the test automation architecture, strategy, and roadmap to ensure long-term scalability and reliability
• Lead automation efforts by defining standards, best practices, and reusable components across projects
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure reliable, fast, and actionable feedback loops
• Analyze automated test results, identify root causes, and collaborate with engineering teams to resolve issues efficiently
• Increase and maintain high automated test coverage, especially for critical and regression test scenarios
• Apply modern test automation patterns and engineering best practices to improve maintainability and performance
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate test development, improve test design, and optimize workflows
• Drive quality improvements by proactively identifying risks, gaps, and areas for automation
• Support performance, API, and cross-platform testing efforts where needed
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure high product quality and release confidence

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in test automation for mobile, web, or hardware-integrated applications
• Strong hands-on experience with modern test automation tools such as Appium, Playwright, Selenium, or similar
• Strong programming skills in at least one language such as Python or Java
• Experience designing and maintaining scalable test automation frameworks from scratch or significantly contributing to them
• Solid experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI or similar)
• Experience with API testing using tools such as Postman, Swagger, or automated API testing frameworks
• Experience with performance and load testing tools such as JMeter or similar
• Strong understanding of test automation design patterns (POM, Page Object Model, Page Factory, etc.)
• Experience using test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira, Xray, or similar
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, Agile methodologies, and QA best practices
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and modern QA engineering workflows
• Experience testing iOS, Android, and modern web applications
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and debugging skills
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
• Proficiency in written and spoken English
• BSc or MSc degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• Residence in İzmir
