Role Summary:

Primary responsibility is to ensure efficient and effective testing on various software projects using Automation tools. To work as part of the test team, integrating closely with the development groups to understand the product set.

Qualification Criteria/Work Experience

Essential:

Strong experience of working within an IT testing environment
Understanding and use of Agile testing methods (SCRUM).
Sound understanding and experience of full Software Development Lifecycle
Individual contributor/Working Single handedly
Experience of using Selenium with Java for Automation.
Knowledge of creating automation framework from scratch
Aware of Devops concepts.
Practical experience of building test environments
Fluent English speaking and excellent communication skills
Pro-active approach to problem resolution and inter-team communication
Demonstrable ability to grasp the relevant software applications to a high level to perform the role.
Aware of how API's or XML work and testing around that.

Overall Project/Task description

Use Automation tool for testing web-based applications
Use Devops concepts in testing once it is built in project.
To manage and progress test faults as they are allocated
To provide assistance with the administration of the test processes and procedures.
Ability to connect, communicate and collaborate effectively with all the stakeholders.
To meet individual deadlines and to contribute effectively to the E&P team targets.
To be able to work well with the development teams to resolve issues.
Should be flexible to work on other tools for automation testing if required
