Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Technology Procurement Manager for a 12-month fixed-term engagement that will report directly to our Senior Director of Technology Operations. This is a high-impact, senior-level position designed for a procurement expert who wants to take full strategic ownership of the company’s technology spend. You will serve as the primary architect of our vendor ecosystem, acting as the critical interface between Finance, Legal, Infosec, and the Executive team.
This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who thrives on "owning the room" in negotiations and enjoys the autonomy of driving a function from strategy through to execution.
About the Role
Strategic Function Leadership
- Lead the full technology procurement lifecycle—owning everything from intake and evaluation to negotiation and offboarding.
- Setting the standards for how technology is vetted and approved across the organization.
- Design and implement robust procurement frameworks that balance business agility with rigorous compliance.
- Manage and mentor two members of the team, supporting development of their negotiation and vendor management skills.
High-Stakes Negotiation & Commercial Strategy
- Act as the lead voice in commercial discussions for SaaS, Infrastructure, and Service agreements, ensuring best-in-market terms.
- Proactively manage the global renewal calendar, ensuring all contract extensions are strategic, intentional, and commercially sound.
- Maintain a centralized repository of all supplier obligations, costs, and terms to ensure total transparency.
Financial Intelligence & Advisory
- Work directly with the finance and budget holders to drive spend visibility, accurate forecasting, and cost-control initiatives.
- Identify feature overlaps and drive tool consolidation to reduce both organizational complexity and total cost of ownership.
We are looking for a candidate who brings more than just execution. We value those who enjoy:
- An interest in sharing your expertise to help level up the procurement literacy of broader business teams.
- The desire to act as a "thought partner" to leadership, helping shape the long-term roadmap for our technology ecosystem.
- A passion for creating "best-in-class" documentation and templates that will serve in the future.
About you
- Extensive Senior-level experience in Technology Procurement or Vendor Management.
- Deep knowledge of SaaS licensing, cloud commercial models, and the legal/security nuances of tech contracting.
- Exceptional ability to manage and influence executive stakeholders without requiring formal hierarchical authority.
- A self-starter who values high autonomy and is comfortable being the "go-to" expert for all things procurement.
Benefits:
- Equity as we want you to have a part of what we are building
- Unlimited Time Off Policy- A work-life balance and focus on our well-being are critical to keeping us performing at our best
- We embrace a hybrid approach that requires employees to be in the office for two days a week. We strongly believe that this approach fosters collaboration and enables the building of meaningful relationships
- You will also get a new starter budget to kit out your home office
- Opportunity to work on innovative projects with smart-minded people keen to share their knowledge and continuously improve
- Annual learning budget (prorated based on start date) to drive your performance and career development
