Senior Technology Business Analyst

About this role:-

The Business Analyst (techno-functional) will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between our business requirements and the technical implementation of data engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document their data requirements, objectives, and use cases.
• Translate business needs into technical requirements for data engineering projects and write JIRA stories.
• Create and maintain a product backlog that captures data-related user stories,features, and tasks.
• Prioritize items in the backlog based on business value and alignment with business objectives.
• Analyze and interpret data to provide insights and make data-driven recommendations for business decisions.
• Gain a deep understanding of data engineering pipelines, ETL processes, and workflow.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers to ensure that ETL processes align with business requirements.
• Understand edge cases in data pipelines and interpret their business impact and communicate effectively to clients & external stakeholders
• Work with the Data Quality Analyst to define data quality standards and perform data validation.
• Assist in identifying data anomalies, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement.Technical Proficiency [MUST HAVE]:
• Create reports and data visualizations to communicate insights to business stakeholders.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies (e.g. Azure, AWS) and data transformation frameworks/tools e.g. Databricks.

Good to Have:

• Knowledge or Hands-on experience using Salesforce CRM.
• Prior experience working in the HealthCare domain is desired.
• Knowledge in SQL for querying and data analysis.
• Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages is a plus.
• Knowledge of any reporting tool like Power BI or Tableau is an added advantage.
