Job summary
We’re looking for a Senior Technical Trainer who can deliver world-class training that empowers DigiCert’s technical audiences — Solutions Engineers, partners, and customers — to confidently use and advocate for our products.
This role sits within the Technical Enablement organization and is responsible for designing, delivering, and maintaining high-impact training across PKI, Device Trust, Certificate Lifecycle Management, Software Trust, and related DigiCert solutions.
You’ll work closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, Support, and Partner teams to ensure that every learner walks away with clarity, confidence, and hands-on skill.
What you will do
Training Delivery & Facilitation
- Deliver engaging virtual and in-person technical training for internal teams, partners, and customers.
- Lead workshops, labs, and certification sessions across DigiCert product lines (e.g., CLM, TLM/STM, Device Trust, PKI, SSO integrations, automation/scripting labs).
- Adapt delivery based on audience persona (SE, Support, partner engineers, customer admins).
Curriculum & Content Development
- Build and maintain course materials including slides, lab guides, assessments, demos, and certification content.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to ensure content reflects current releases, roadmap updates, and industry best practices.
- Translate complex technical concepts into digestible, actionable learning.
Environment & Lab Ownership
- Collaborate with Engineering/CloudShare/DevOps teams to ensure lab environments are configured, stable, and up to date.
- Troubleshoot lab issues and drive improvements to hands-on learning experiences.
Cross-Functional Partnership
- Work with SE leadership, Partner Enablement, Product Marketing, and Support to identify skill gaps and create training that directly impacts adoption and product proficiency.
- Participate in product launch readiness initiatives and live enablement events (Tech Summit, SKO, SE bootcamps).
Quality & Evaluation
- Collect learner feedback and use metrics to improve content and delivery.
- Ensure training meets DigiCert’s enablement standards for accuracy, clarity, and impact.
What you will have
Technical Expertise
- 4+ years experience in technical training, technical enablement, solutions engineering, or systems administration.
- Strong understanding of PKI, certificates, CLM, identity & access management, TLS, or related security technologies.
- Ability to articulate how DigiCert solutions solve real-world business and technical problems (mapping features → value).
- Comfortable discussing APIs, integrations, cloud infrastructure, and deployment architectures at a high level.
- Familiarity with scripting/automation (Python, PowerShell, Bash) to support advanced lab content.
Training & Instructional Skills
- Proven ability to deliver clear, engaging technical training to mixed audiences.
- Experience building structured training materials (labs, guides, videos, assessments).
- Strong facilitation, storytelling, and classroom management skills.
Tools & Platforms
- Proficiency with LMS platforms, content authoring tools, and virtual classroom technologies.
- Experience with CloudShare or other lab provisioning environments.
- Ability to work with Confluence, Jira, Highspot, GitHub, or similar tooling.
Soft Skills
- Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple courses and stakeholders.
- Exceptional communication — able to simplify the complex.
- Strong ownership mindset; able to work independently and drive outcomes.
- Collaborative, positive, team-oriented approach.
Nice to have
- Experience training on DigiCert products specifically (CLM, Device Trust Manager, Software Trust Manager, DigiCert ONE modules).
- Background in cybersecurity, PKI architectures, or certificate lifecycle management.

- CompTIA Security+
- CISSP
- Certified PKI Professional (C|PKI)
- AWS/Azure/GCP foundational certs
- Experience working with partner training programs or customer education.
- Instructional design experience (ADDIE, adult learning theory, blended learning).
