CloudSmiths is looking for a high-impact Senior Technical Recruiter to join our team.
You’ll be the bridge between our technical delivery teams and a global pool of elite talent, focusing on the GCP, Databricks, and Microsoft Azure ecosystems.
This is a full-time, permanent role for someone who thrives on agility and the "grit" of finding the perfect match.
The Mission
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle; from initial briefing and headhunting to negotiation and onboarding.
- Build a robust pipeline of technical experts across South Africa, the UK, Mauritius, and beyond.
- Rapidly source and deploy contractors for project-based team augmentation.
- Act as a strategic advisor to hiring managers, defining job specs and providing market-realistic salary benchmarks.
What You Bring
- 5+ years in technical recruitment, ideally with a blend of agency speed and in-house culture.
- You must "speak Cloud." We need someone who understands the nuances of Data Engineers, Cloud Architects, DevOps, and Platform Engineers.
- A deep understanding of the South African market and global regions, including compliance, notice periods, and salary expectations.
- You have an existing, active network of technical professionals and contractors ready to go.
- Technical tertiary qualifications are critical to understanding our technical competencies.
