Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Project Manager with a strong Java development background to lead and manage large-scale enterprise application initiatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience running Agile/Scrum ceremonies, driving cross-functional teams, and providing hands-on technical leadership in Java-based systems. This role requires a blend of project management expertise, Agile/Scrum leadership, and deep technical understanding to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of complex software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end project delivery for Java-based enterprise applications.
Works as a Technical Project Manager to run Scrum of Scrum calls
Act as Scrum Master, facilitating daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
Work closely with Product Owners to define user stories, acceptance criteria, and release plans.
Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and dependencies.
Coordinate with development, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders.
Provide technical oversight and guidance to development teams on Java architecture and best practices.
Track sprint progress, velocity, and KPIs using Agile tools (JIRA, Confluence).
Ensure adherence to Agile methodologies and continuous improvement practices.
Prepare and present project status reports to senior leadership and clients.
Identify and mitigate technical and delivery risks proactively.
Support production releases, post-release reviews, and continuous optimization.

Required Skills & Qualifications

15+ years of overall IT experience with strong project/program management exposure.
Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager and Scrum Master.
Strong hands-on or architectural experience in Java / J2EE.

Solid understanding of:

Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices
SOAP and RESTful APIs
SQL & NoSQL databases
Data Bricks and ETLs
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Proficiency with Agile tools: JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
Experience managing distributed and offshore teams.
