Senior Technical Product Manager (Patient Engagement Experimentation), Remote

TLDR

Own the test-and-learn infrastructure for enhancing patient outreach through AI solutions, driving data-driven decision-making and optimizing engagement strategies for Medicare patients.

As a Senior Technical Product Manager you will be a key member of the team that designs technical, service and content solutions to support Aledade’s various lines of business with a focus on Medicare patients.  The SeniorTechnical Product Manager will own the test-and-learn infrastructure that determines what works across our outreach  modalities, improve our approach to rapid experimentation cycles, and then apply those insights to continuously optimize our growing  portfolio of agentic AI outreach. You will help push data-driven decision making through ownership of our end-to-end customer data, reporting, and measurement.  This will require close collaboration with Business analytics, Impact Analytics, and business partners on patient outreach success metrics, owning APIs both internal and 3rd party that provide insights into patient outreach usage and outcomes.  You will partner closely with product managers in our patient outreach channels to design the experimentation approach for patient acquisition and engagement, building evidence along the way. As part of this role, you will also be creating feedback loops for the human QA teams to ensure reliability of our experiments and scaled AI-outreach products. This role ensures that Aledade creates a high-quality product with the ability to scale.  You are a patient engagement optimization expert who combines deep A/B testing expertise across multi-channel outreach (SMS, phone, mail, email) with hands-on experience optimizing agentic AI solutions for voice and text-based patient communication. You will operate our test and learn  infrastructure—designing experiments, managing the prioritization process for high volumes of test requests, executing rigorous A/B tests, and partnering with analytics teams to translate insights into actionable optimizations. As our agentic AI solutions are deployed, this person will take the reins to systematically improve their performance through structured experimentation. The ideal candidate has scaled test programs in healthcare or consumer health settings, brings strong analytical fluency to interpret results and guide strategy, understands the nuances of patient engagement funnels, and can balance scientific rigor with operational velocity to drive measurable improvements in enrollment, activation, and retention. We are flexible with respect to geographic location, and the ideal candidate will be comfortable working remotely/work from home within the U.S. or from our headquarters office in Bethesda, MD. Primary Duties:
  • Partner with business owners to cultivate a shared vision for the problem space, constraints, priorities and ideal end state, and be able to articulate and advocate for this perspective.
  • Ongoing optimization of live user workflows and capabilities including monitoring of key metrics & user feedback
  • Work with internal teams and end users to develop a deep understanding of requirements, perform thoughtful solution design, use data to test hypotheses, and support teams throughout execution.
  • Write detailed user stories for new features, capturing detailed descriptions of business rationale, requirements, and success criteria that are defined by measurable outcomes.
  • Develop short- and long-term roadmaps that deliver maximum value with minimum risk and assume ongoing iteration.
  • Minimum Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of product management experience in technology, technology-enabled services industry, or a SaaS product.
  • Preferred Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities:
  • 5+ years managing A/B testing programs in patient/consumer engagement, preferably in healthcare or digital health.
  • Experience optimizing agentic AI or conversational AI performance (prompt engineering, dialogue optimization, voice/SMS agent tuning).
  • Proven track record managing high-velocity test programs (10+ concurrent tests, weekly launch cadence).
  • Strong analytical fluency: experimental design, power calculations, statistical interpretation, and ability to partner effectively with data science/analytics teams.
  • Expertise in multi-channel orchestration and patient journey optimization.
  • Power user proficiency with A/B testing platforms (e.g., Optimizely, Braze) and analytics tools (e.g., Amplitude, Mixpanel).
  • Experience using data and primary research to inform solution design and build internal business understanding.
  • Experience with and understanding of the software development lifecycle and software development methodologies. Preferably experience with Agile / Scrum teams.
  • Product development experience in the context of the development of a healthcare technology product.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills with an emphasis on problem-solving and building subject matter expertise.
  • Intermediate understanding of EHR data integration and applicable data standards (e.g. FHIR).
  • Knowledge of SQL, ideally with PostgreSQL experience.
  • Knowledge of healthcare administrative and clinical data sets, including demographic, financial and clinical data.
Basic understanding of healthcare administrative or clinical workflows for inpatient, ambulatory or ancillary services.
  • Physical Requirements:
Sitting for prolonged periods of time. Extensive use of computers and keyboard. Occasional walking and lifting may be required.
