YOUR ROLE

We’re looking for a Senior Technical Consultant who thrives on solving complex problems, learning new technologies, and guiding clients through transformative journeys in adoption of newest technologies and development patterns, including Business requirements, development, Cloud, DevOps and SRE, with a specific expertise on the latter end of the chain. This role is ideal for someone who combines a strong engineering mindset with technical curiosity and a passion for continuous improvement. The ideal candidate can zoom in on the technical detail, while maintaining a wide-angle view of the overall landscape.

You’ll work closely with clients to understand their challenges, design tailored solutions, and lead the implementation of modern product development, cloud-native and DevOps practices. You won’t just build systems—you’ll help shape strategies, coach teams, and drive meaningful change.

Its DevSecOps, but not as you know it; we’re seeking someone with T-shaped knowledge; deep expertise in DevOps and cloud native engineering, complemented by a broad understanding of other delivery domains such as software development, solution architecture, security, agile delivery, and business analysis. This empowers our consultants to connect technical solutions with the business outcomes our clients are looking for.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead technical engagements with clients, identifying opportunities for transformation and innovation.
• Design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient cloud architectures across multiple cloud platforms, and multiple different services as appropriate.
• Guide clients through DevOps adoption, focusing on principles like automation, continuous delivery, and feedback loops.
• Use the AI tools that underpin Gen-e2 to deliver significantly faster than more traditional ways to work.
• Adaptability and willingness to continuously learn and stay updated with the rapidly evolving AI landscape.
• Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions to uncover client needs and co-create roadmaps.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions that blend engineering excellence with business impact.
• Mentor delivery teams on modern engineering practices and help them leverage AI-augmented development tools.
• Stay curious: explore new technologies, challenge assumptions, and bring fresh ideas to the table.

WHO YOU ARE

• Strong foundation in software engineering and systems design.
• Consulting experience or strong stakeholder engagement skills.
• Proficiency in working with AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, ...) for code generation and problem-solving.
• Understanding of prompt engineering principles for optimal AI tool interaction.
• Ability to effectively collaborate with AI tools while maintaining code quality and adherence to best practices.
• Critical thinking to validate and verify AI-generated code and solutions.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), especially serverless and container orchestration.
• Familiarity with DevOps principles and practices (CI/CD, infrastructure as code, automation).
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and solve problems creatively.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with teams and clients.
• Strong expertise in modern software development toolchains (e.g., Atlassian suite, Azure DevOps, GitHub), ideally including hands-on experience migrating between platforms. Able to articulate the trade-offs, integration capabilities, and strategic considerations of each tool in the context of enterprise-scale transformation.
