Position: Senior Technical Business Analyst - QA

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Business Analyst - QA to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical solutions, ensuring the highest quality standards in software development. In this role, you will collaborate with stakeholders, development teams, and QA professionals to define, analyze, and validate business needs while implementing robust testing strategies.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in business analysis, quality assurance, and software testing methodologies, with expertise in agile development environments. You will be responsible for gathering and documenting requirements, designing test strategies, identifying defects, and ensuring seamless software functionality through effective test planning and execution.

Responsibilities & Duties:

1. Monitor issues and escalations:

• • Track and document issues effectively
  • Follow up on resolutions and provide regular updates to stakeholders
  • Prioritize issues based on business impact

1. Manage UAT and Post Verification (PV):

• • Gather updates from  support team on fix resolution and UAT readiness
  • Ensure UAT completion from BU within timeline and arrange for deployment window
  • Ensure successful post verification activities until signoff

1. Conduct weekly BAU meetings:

• • Gather updates from the support team on RCA, resolution target date, escalation etc.
  • Provide actionable feedback and ensure alignment on resolutions
  • Ensure proper communication & feedback loop with BU on the reported issue

1. Oversee and execute HPQC-related activities:

• • Upload test plans and test scripts
  • Monitor defect logging, progress, and closure within SLA

1. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement (CR)
2. Maintain comprehensive documentation and reports on BAU and testing activities

Qualifications & Skills

•         Experience as BA in IT projects and BAU environments

•         Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities

•         Strong proficiency test management tools like HPQC/ALM

•         Familiarity with UAT processes and defect lifecycle management

•         Strong documentation skills for issue tracking and test scripts

•         Experience and understanding of ITIL and BAU management processes

•         Basic understanding in reading and translating XML query

•         Capability in performing data massaging and using analytic tool in Excel, CSV

•         Excellent Communication both written and spoken.

•         Stakeholder Management.

•         Certification in Business Analyst (e.g CBAP, PMI, Scrum Master) - Advantage
