Overview of the role:

We’re looking for a Senior Technical Account Manager (TAM) to be a trusted technical partner to premium publishers as they integrate, scale, and succeed with our monetization and programmatic solutions. In this role, you’ll sit at the intersection of technical execution, partner success, and cross-functional collaboration — helping publishers onboard smoothly, solve complex issues, optimize performance, and unlock long-term value from our products.

This role blends technical depth with client leadership and is ideal for someone who can translate complex ad tech concepts into clear actions and measurable outcomes for publisher partners. You’ll work closely with teams across Sales, Product, Engineering, and Operations while serving as a technical owner and strategic partner across key publisher relationships.

The impact you'll make:

  • Partner directly with publishers, external partners, and internal stakeholders to provide pre- and post-sales technical guidance across Web, In-App, and CTV monetization.
  • Deliver a strong partner experience by setting expectations clearly, driving technical execution, and resolving issues with urgency, clarity, and ownership.
  • Use deep knowledge of InMobi Exchange products to investigate and resolve issues across bid delivery, latency, and timeout challenges, no-fill, discrepancies, creative or rendering issues, and reporting variance.
  • Serve as a key liaison between Regional CSM and Sales teams and Product, Engineering, and Exchange Operations, helping drive alignment, transparency, and strong outcomes.
  • Manage publisher product deployments and upgrades end-to-end, including integration planning, technical requirements, launch checklists, partner testing, and go-live readiness.
  • Lead and support technical onboarding and integrations across multiple implementation types, including:
    • InMobi SDK (iOS/Android): implementation guidance, diagnostics, and log capture, and upgrade best practices
    • Prebid.js / Prebid Server: wrappers, adapters, auction configuration, timeouts, and debugging
    • OpenRTB supply integrations: validation of requests and signals
    • CTV integrations: VAST troubleshooting, ad pod behavior, and measurement considerations
  • Own escalations and incident management from triage and mitigation through root cause analysis, resolution, postmortems, and prevention, in close partnership with Engineering and Operations.
  • Drive ongoing optimization efforts to improve monetization and technical health metrics such as bid rate, win rate, fill rate, eCPM, match rate, and latency, while balancing user experience and policy requirements.
  • Proactively monitor partner health and identify risks early, including integration regressions, supply quality concerns, and policy or compliance impacts, and implement preventative measures before they affect performance.
  • Translate customer and market feedback into clear technical requirements and prioritized action plans for Product and Engineering teams.
  • Stay current on ad tech best practices and evolving industry standards, including privacy and consent changes that impact monetization, such as GDPR/TCF, U.S. privacy signals, and cookie deprecation implications.
  • Build scalable processes and documentation, including integration guides, troubleshooting playbooks, launch templates, and internal enablement materials that help support growth in a high-velocity environment.

The experience we need:

  • Experience in publisher-side or advertising technology environments is required, including work with publishers, SSPs/exchanges, header bidding, ad serving, or monetization platforms.
  • Strong understanding of programmatic fundamentals and publisher monetization workflows, including auction mechanics and key supply-side performance metrics.
  • Strong hands-on technical troubleshooting skills, with comfort working across logs and event flows, partner debug artifacts, and platform diagnostics.
  • Experience using tools such as Charles, Chrome DevTools, HAR files, and network-level investigation techniques to diagnose web delivery issues.
  • Ability to read and validate OpenRTB payloads, requests, signals, and common failure modes.
  • Experience working with APIs, including REST request/response troubleshooting.
  • Experience working with relational databases and writing SQL queries to support investigations and analysis.
  • Familiarity with one or more of the following is a strong plus:
    • Prebid.js / Prebid Server, including wrappers, adapters, timeouts, floors, and debugging
    • Mobile app monetization, including iOS/Android SDK integrations and mediation concepts
    • CTV ecosystem fundamentals, including VAST, ad pods, and SSAI vs. client-side considerations
    • Ad server workflows, such as Google Ad Manager, and trafficking concepts
  • Strong client-facing communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts clearly for publishers, Ad Ops, Engineering, Product, and revenue stakeholders.
  • Strong ownership, prioritization, and cross-functional leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams across the UK and North America time zones and operate effectively in ambiguity.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering is helpful, but not required.
