About the Role

In this role you play a key part in the Swiss tax and reporting management within this large multinational business. Working closely with other members of the Tax, Finance, Treasury and Legal teams in Switzerland, you will have a critical role in contributing to business stability and operational excellence while working in a stimulating international environment.

 

Responsabilities

·        You will be responsible for providing subject matter expertise across the business, whether to operational teams, to other finance teams or within the tax department itself.

·        You will handle the Swiss tax cycle, including VAT returns and corporate taxes (direct and indirect).

·        You will assist with some group projects, which will include tax technical research and the successful management of tax advisors. This may include M&A, group restructuring projects, rationalisations, etc.

·        You will support transfer pricing arrangements, intercompany loan agreements, tax payments and other intercompany flows.

·        Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors and tax advisers to support audits and reporting.

Requirements

·        Master degree in Law, economics, accounting or similar.

·        Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Swiss corporate taxation, working for a reputable accounting and tax firm, or experience of working in house in a corporate environment.

·        In-depth knowledge of applicable tax laws and accounting standards (Code des Obligations, IFRS, VAT law and tax principles).

·        Rigorous, autonomous and solution-orientated mindset with excellent working organisation and ethics.

·        Languages: fluent in French and English, German is a plus.
