Senior System Enginering

BlackStone eIT is seeking an experienced Senior System Engineer to join our cutting-edge technology team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing complex systems and infrastructure solutions that support our growing business needs. Your expertise will be critical in ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of our systems while providing technical guidance and leadership to junior engineers.

As a Senior System Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess requirements and translate them into technical specifications, oversee system upgrades, and troubleshoot issues effectively. Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable system architectures to support application development and deployment.
• Monitor system performance and ensure optimal operation through proactive troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate new applications and services into existing systems.
• Conduct regular system assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
• Oversee system security measures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers on best practices in systems engineering.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and trends to recommend enhancements to existing systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in systems engineering or a related field.
• Strong experience with system architecture design, implementation, and management.
• Proficiency with operating systems (Windows, Linux) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
• Familiarity with automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSE, CCNA, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.
